On the 18th of June, 2022 we held our second student conference on the topic of One Health.
One Health recognises the interrelationship between our community, animals, and shared environment, in contributing to public health outcomes. It is a multidisciplinary concept involving professionals from public health, agriculture, city planning and environmental health, who all contribute to policies, programs, and research pertaining to One Health. We had 2 short lectures and a student led panel discussion which taught us how to implement concepts of One Health in our day to day lives and careers.
