Great epi knowledge and skills developed. Very hard in the process, but very useful after that.

Epidemiology 2 is definitely a challenging subject. We were scared into thinking it was all zombies and horror, but that just makes you put the effort necessary to get through it. It's been adjusted to a 12-week course that's scheduled to accommodate the most difficult concepts and assignment schedules in-between the easier ones. It helps a lot that Melissa is a great coordinator who teaches well, listens to feedback, and gives a lot of encouragement. (She also likes heavy metal and does 50km walks, don't be deceived!) Absolutely rewarded the time and effort!

A very difficult subject and a huge jump from Epidemiology 1. The content was mostly well delivered but was not easily digested within the week and within the tutes. I felt that I was often distressed by the level of difficulty of the content and eventually just gave up. Melissa is very kind and a wonderful coordinator though.

This was a challenging subject and definitely a step up from Epidemiology 1. Some of the content can be difficult to grasp at first and you will have to go over it a few times, but the subject itself is reasonably paced and the assessments are fairly weighted. I think this subject is useful if you are interested in learning about different study designs and biases. Make sure to ask your tutors heaps of questions! P.S I loved the cute animal photos at the end of each module
