One of the worst experiences of my life. The PPU staff, especially in semester one 2025 was absolutely pathetic, poor communication with students and organisations, and poor tone when speaking with students. They took 4-6 months replying to emails (I'm not kidding) and loved gaslighting the students. Do NOT take the PPU, do the research project instead. The report and oral is the same for both capstones so definitely don't do PPU. Thank you PPU for ruining my life xo

So sorry to hear this bad experience.

I agree with your point of choosing Research project or PPU. Some friends only had a chance to do internship for 20-30 days which is not enough to even learn sufficiently the organisational context. Also "unpaid labour" is something we should question about the system.

What is better for PPU compared to Research? Nothing much but less, you studied hard for H1 above in core subjects but you won't be eligible for a PhD because you didn't simply choose Research project. If you do Research, you will probably get a chance to get your work (or two if SRMA) published while completing your MPH.
